DEALING WITH A LAYOFF

Have you lost your job due to a closure or lay-off? The Job Training Center has services available to help you develop a plan, explore your options and get back to work. Financial aid is available. There are no cost for our services.

Facing a layoff can be hard, but we have worked with thousands of people who have successfully transitioned to a new opportunity. There’s a lot that you can do to form a plan and move forward. Having a positive team behind you can help. Talk to our staff about training options, job search assistance, preparing an effective resume and fine tuning interview skills. If you need to work immediately, there are employers hiring. We can sign you up to receive our Hot Jobs List. New jobs are sent out each week.

Ask for the packet: If you’ve been laid off, let the staff know and we’ll provide you with a great packet of resources.
